Hole.io 2 is a free black hole game that runs in your browser on desktop, tablet and phone. You steer a hole around a city-sized arena, swallow crates, cars, trees and towers, and grow with every item. Outscore the AI rivals before the timer runs out. How to play Hole.io 2

1. Start a match. Press Play. Pick Free for all or Teams on the main menu first, and change the map, match length and bot difficulty in Settings.
2. Steer your hole. Move the mouse and the hole follows your cursor. On a touchscreen, drag anywhere to use the floating joystick. On a keyboard, use WASD or the arrow keys.
3. Swallow smaller objects. Drive over anything smaller than your hole. Items outlined in red are still too big for you. Bigger items give more points and more growth.
4. Avoid bigger holes. A hole at least 18% larger than yours can swallow you. You respawn after about three seconds with brief protection and keep 60% of your score.
5. Finish on top. When the timer ends, the highest score wins. In Teams mode the team with the highest combined score wins.

Can holes swallow each other?

Yes. A hole that is at least 18% larger than another can swallow it. The swallowed hole loses 40% of its score and respawns after a few seconds.

What is Teams mode?

Teams mode splits everyone into Red and Blue. You cannot swallow teammates, and the team with the highest combined score at the end wins.

Can I change the map and match length?

Yes. Settings let you choose from 7 map themes, 5 map shapes, a match length from 60 to 300 seconds, and toggles for the grid, minimap and leaderboard.
